Object Reservoir, Inc. has been the leading provider of finite element reservoir modeling technology for over 10 years. The Resolve™ finite element modeling engine has been trusted by hundreds of operators for thousands of projects worldwide. Object Reservoir is introducing a new component to its suite of solutions.

With years of experience in shale and other unconventional gas resources, Object Reservoir has added “knowledge architecture” (ORKA) to our toolkit. ORKA is the complete architecture for the organization of large numbers of unconventional gas wells and well data. Wells are categorized within ORKA based on completion types, complexities, rock properties and drilling environment using ORKA: Limits™. Limits performs detailed cross plotting and well-to-field scale diagnostic plots based on early production and pressure data where well comparisons can be made. Limits then utilizes these diagnostic plots to create analytic models and probabilistic forecasts based on actual physical parameters. Recognizing that operators need to be able to understand the likely EUR and ROI that will be achieved based on rock physics rather than arbitrary decline curves, this suite of technology enables a workflow that produces a defensible analysis quickly.

In conjunction with the detailed numerical modeling provided by the Resolve ™ engine, which reduces analytical model uncertainty and feeds directly back into the ORKA architecture, our technology design is driven by the need to understand, best exploit and book reserves from resources using very early production data in the fiercely competitive shale and unconventional gas industry.
